Why should I join the Green Collaborative of New Orleans?
·       Be part of the growing critical mass of businesses, organizations, programs and agencies focused on environmental justice, sustainability, and the expansion of green business in the New Orleans region
·       Let your voice be heard as policy statements are developed
·       Broaden your network of contacts within the green community
·       Gain visibility and access to programs, initiatives, and opportunities that can benefit your organization or business
 
How much are membership dues?
·       $25 / year / member—up to 4 members per organization
·      Maximum per organization $100 / year—members above the 4 paid are free
 
How will my dues be spent?
Membership dues will be used only for Steering Committee approved expenses that directly support the Green Collaborative’s mission or vision.  Specifically, funds will be spent on:
·       Light food and beverage to improve the overall experience of general membership meetings (not steering committee meetings)
·       Travel expenses (mileage, hotel) for any visiting presenters
·       Supplies and printing expenses associated with outreach, meetings, press conferences, etc.
·       Marketing collateral to extend the visibility and networking clout of the Collaborative
All expenditures will be approved in advance by a majority vote of the Steering Committee.
 
Who administers Green Collaborative funds?
·       Funds will be held by Sustainable Environmental Enterprise (SEE), a member organization of The Green Collaborative.  SEE will administer the funds and provide quarterly reconciliation, including a balance sheet, which will be posted on the website and announced at general membership meetings.  SEE is donating these professional services; no compensation is planned.
